Harry

Harry Edward Styles is an English musician, singer, and musician from England. He was part of One Direction. His parents include Des Styles and Anne Cox. Harry Styles was born on 1st February 1994, in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. Harry Styles was a student at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, where together with his three classmates, he formed his own band called White Eskimo. The band's outstanding performances enabled them to take home their first Battle of Bands 2009. He was always interested in music but also wanted to work as a lawyer, physiotherapist or even scout. Working part-time in a local bakery is his very first occupation in order to provide for his family. In the year 2010, Harry Styles presented audition for The X Factor where he performed the song Is not She Lovely by Stevie Wonder and was selected. His band was forced to break up due to the fact that they were selected. Nicole Scherzinger proposed to Harry Styles to be a part of a new band, One Direction. The other members were Liam Payne Zayn Mallik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored five teenagers to form the band in 2010. They sang the Kelly Clarkson song My Life Would Be Sucky Without You as well as Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart in the competition, which helped them become one of the top contenders for winning the contest. They were in third place behind Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle, who were the winners. Harry Styles did not receive a prize, however Cowell offered a 2-million-pound deal to One Direction in order for them to join Syco Records.
