Amber Benson bio

Amber Benson is an American actor, singer, writer and producer. Her most famous role is acting as Tara Maclay from the TV Series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Benson is also the director of her own films Chance, Lovers Liars & Lunatics and was the leading actress in those films. Also, she was a part of the movie Kiss the Bride. Benson was the child, born on the 8th of January 1977, of Edward Benson and Diane Benson. Danielle is her elder sister who is also an artist. Benson attended a Reform Jewish synagogue when she was growing in her teens. Her mother, who was Southern Baptist and raised Jewish by her father, is also Jewish. Benson is a performer in numerous movies and TV shows after Buffy ended, has also appeared in The Killing Jar. While behind the lens Benson utilized her writing talent to create her own Ghosts of Albion television series. In 2010 she directed Drones. Buffy claims that she's found and counted at least 1800 Slayers with 500 who collaborate with the Scooby Gang. Slayer possibilities are being awakened after they've reached an appropriate age.
