Lisa Edelstein was an American actress, best known as the actress who starred in Fox's House medical show. In a strictly Jewish childhood the actress was able to move from Wayne to New York City when she aged 18 and began attending Tisch School of the Arts. She was very active in the club scene in New York City and made enough noise to be heard from the news media. While doing so she became more conscious of AIDS and its devastating impacts. She then merged her talents and fame the ability to write and compose to produce a play called Positive Me. The first time she was hired, she got her first position with MTV as the anchor of Awake on the Wild Side shortly after. When it ended up going off the show, she started appearing in films and television production at first in small roles but then gradually becoming an actress.
